Right then, after very nearly losing my fiingers earlier today whilst lifting a manhole cover, I thought it might be rather a good idea to upgrade from my B&Q specials.
ive got a few sets of keys. Your best bet would probaby be to look on ebay or somewhere you could grab some cheap. They are also sold at building or drain shops. Frost and i got a set from margate. Im pretty sure one of my sets came from build center tho which is now gone.
The other alternative is to make some, ive done that too lol.
And I wouldn't even have to tell him which ones to lift!

u have a welder..hmmm sounds fun..:)them keys look ok mate i paid£4.95 for mine and they are a bit diddy

Mine were about a fiver too and are pretty small. The main trouble I had was that the hook bit would slip out of the covers lifting eye mid lift which is why I welded a T-piece on.
