any one got a ir remote for the sony?most fit the a230 aswell as a380 which would be handy..there is a £5.99 option at amazon only one button for shutter so if anyone(obs) could recomend or not recomend this as alternative to the £25.99 sony rmt-dslr1 with sooooooooo many buttons and advice be usefull

hello there mate, i had the a700 and wasnt overly impressed with the remote. Id suggest looking at a wired remote that you can fit to your tripod and plug in. These seem to work better than IR but i havent had a play with your model of camera so couldnt say 100%
