As part of our UK roadtrip we stopped off here, its an interesting site as it leads into the rest of the hospital which is still live, you can see the staff through a set of double doors! Access is also interesting to say the least, it is easy to see why not too many people visit this one!

The hospital was designed by John Carr and later an Architect called Alexander Graham designed the newer buildings. It is hard to find much history on this place as much of the information is conflicting!

All in all, its a wicked place and good fun trying to not get caught!

Visited with Muffie, Maniac and Raptor_Jesus.

On one of the kids wings, its wierd, you would have thought the bathroom wouldnt be made of glass!

Silhouette of Jesus

This was awesome, the iron lung, made in 1966, one of few in this good condition, comfy to lay in! Smile

X-ray machine

Another X-ray machine, with a note saying 'please be careful with me, im very old and probably past my best!'

Doors into the live bit!

Thanks for looking,

Frosty.
